This is a Developer Diary for Tales of Xdripia: The Seventh Amulet. It covers recent work on the Unreal Engine 5.8 port. Official site: talesofxdripia.com.
This update marks a production milestone: the world of Verdalia has moved from the asset catalogue into the engine.
What changed
- The first large batch of world 3D assets is now inside the Unreal Engine 5.8 project. It covers common sets and Verdalia: props, furnishings and textures.
- The batch comes from our master asset catalogue. Every piece was approved in art review before it entered the engine.
- Most textures are already engine-ready.
Still in progress
A share of the meshes is still being brought into the Editor and checked for scale and materials.
Creatures and spells will follow through their own dedicated pipelines, which are still being refined.
This diary reports progress on the pipeline. It does not announce a playable build or a release date.
Why this matters
Verdalia is where the adventure begins. With its assets now in UE 5.8, it moves from a set of approved pieces to a world we can build in. That is the foundation for levels, lighting and gameplay.
